Karen has been working with my wife who suffers from aphasia as the result of a hemorrhagic stroke. Karen has been great at adjusting her approach to Barb’s challenges which includes reading, writing, and concentration. Currently she has combined these skills using cooking and gardening to keep her engaged in those things she enjoys the most. There has been great improvement because of Karens work and more importantly Barb enjoys the time she spends with Karen as the exercises have been adjusted to fit Barb’s interests and to keep it challenging. I’m extremely pleased with Karen’s work.
